This Initial Consultation Agreement is made between the Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant – Kamalpreet Kaur Sagoo, RCIC (R708650) "the RCIC" and the client "the Client" on the date, the client makes payment for paid online Initial Consultation on this website after booking a time slot under available appointments.

1. Mode of Communication with the Client: Initial consultation and all professional services are provided online only via zoom or google meet.

2. Booking paid online initial consultation: Type of initial consultation required by the Client (60 mins/30mins) is assessed by the RCIC during 20-minute free telephone conversation.

3. Objective of paid online initial consultation: To understand the Client's case specific details regarding Canadian immigration or Canadian immigration application.

4. Outcome of paid online initial consultation: To the best of the RCIC's ability, resolve queries of the Client, identify the best suited Canadian immigration program or process for the Client, if any and explain the best suited Canadian immigration program or process to the Client, if any.

5. Guarantee on outcome of the Client's Canadian immigration application: The RCIC does not guarantee successful outcome of the Client's Canadian immigration application.

6. Confidentiality: All information collected during paid online initial consultation is kept strictly confidential.

 

Additional terms of this initial consultation agreement

1. Responsibility of the Client: Provide honest and factual information to the RCIC and pay non-refundable online consultation fee to the RCIC. (Applicable fee includes taxes but excludes transaction/processing cost, if any)

2. Retaining the RCIC as Authorised Representative for submissions at IRCC: Paid online consultation does not constitute as appointing Kamalpreet Kaur Sagoo, RCIC as the Client's authorised representative. To retain the RCIC as authorised representative, a retainer agreement must be signed between the Client and the RCIC.

3. Liability of the RCIC: The RCIC is not responsible for the Client's actions in terms of how the Client applies any Canadian immigration information gained during paid online initial consultation. The RCIC is not obligated to send updates about Canadian immigration programs after paid online consultation has ended.

 

Refunds, cancellation and re-scheduling

1. No refund policy applies if the Client has missed or utilized paid online initial consultation.

2. All payments are final. No chargebacks allowed. No refunds allowed.

3. In the event of internet or technical difficulties, the Client's appointment will be rescheduled as per available appointments.

4. In the event of cancellation, cancellation done 2 days prior to scheduled appointment date will be refunded. (Transaction/processing charges may apply)

5. In the event of rescheduling an appointment to a later date, the same will be allowed twice within three months timeframe.

6. By entering his/her First Name, Last Name, E-mail ID, Date of Consultation and by checking mandatory fields in the payment gateway, the Client gives his/her lawful electronic consent that the Client has read, understood and agreed to all the terms of this Initial Consultation Agreement.

7. By proceeding to pay, the Client gives his/her lawful electronic consent to this entire Initial Consultation Agreement. (This action of the Client will be considered equivalent to signing this entire Initial Consultation Agreement in person)

These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws in effect in the Province of Alberta, Canada.

Kamalpreet Kaur Sagoo, RCIC, is a member in good standing of College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants and as such, is bound by its By-Laws, Code of Professional Ethics, and associated Regulations.
